Everyone’s favorite winter farmers’ market is almost here! SMAMS is a proud supporter of the Dorchester Winter Farmers’ Market, and we hope you will join your neighbors for this year’s market kickoff:
When: Sunday Jan 5, noon-4pm
Where: The Great Hall in Codman Square (6 Norfolk St)
What: Farm fresh produce, fish, and meat! Donuts! Music!
This year’s market kickoff features Compliments Food Truck, children’s activities from Ashmont Nursery School, and music from the Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band (performing from 1-2pm).
Remember you can use your SNAP EBT cards at the market and get up to $10 of farm fresh food for free!
The Dorchester Winter Farmers’ Market continues every Sunday afternoon from 12-4pm, January-March. Many favorite vendors will be returning, such as Silverbrook and Oakdale Farms, and Red’s Best Seafood. New vendors will include Dorchester’s own Sweet Life Bakery. The Winter Market will also feature local meat and cheese, a variety of specialty products, and food trucks.
