On Wednesday, November 21st, we were excited to see Paragon Landscape & Construction starting breaking ground on our Peabody Square East & West. The Peabody Square Revitalization project begins with excavation, stonework, and planting of new perennials and a sycamore tree!

The project aims to create a people’s plaza in Peabody Square where friends and neighbors can  recharge, engaging with public art and performances, and learning about the history of Peabody Square in a protected green space for the community for generations to come. We are excited to see progress toward reclaiming an area that was part of a congested intersection into a space for community interaction.

We are expecting substantial progress from before Thanksgiving up until December with a few additions after the winter. Keep your eye out for a spring ribbon cutting celebration next year!
