St. Mark’s Area Main Street and WalkBoston invite community members to take part in a Neighborhood Walk Audit.
The Ashmont area is a busy, vibrant neighborhood with a high level of pedestrian activity. It is also a heavily trafficked area with cars, buses, and trucks. This workshop and walk audit will help community members analyze the walking environment and develop ways to make the area safer and more inviting for pedestrians of all ages.
All ages welcome. Snacks provided. Part of the event will be outdoors, so dress accordingly.
Meet at St. Mark’s Area Main Street (SMAMS) Office, 1914 Dorchester Avenue, Carruth Building ground floor. Located across from the Ashmont MBTA Station.
