Mark your calendars for the 8th annual Dorchester Chili Cook-off on Sunday, March 30, 4-7 p.m., at IBEW Local 103 Hall, 256 Freeport Street, Dorchester (just up the street from Yale Electric).
A panel of distinguished judges will award prizes in several categories, while the ever-popular People’s Choice award (where it is perfectly acceptable to buy votes) will give a boost to the fundraising total, which benefits the Dorchester Day Parade. Admission is $20/adult, $30/family (up to four persons), $5 for each additional child.
Interested in being in the cookoff? Please note that all chili must be prepared in a restaurant or other certified commercial kitchen, and all entrants must be registered by February 28.
