We are happy to spotlight Ashmont Cycles, The Brainchild of owner Jack Pelletier, this family owned and operated business has been a staple in the Ashmont Community since opening at their previous location on Talbot Avenue next to Ashmont Grill back in  march of 2011.  While grateful to Carl Micci of Micci Fuel, their former neighbor for providing Ashmont Cycles with a tremendous amount of support throughout the years. Pelletier, knew that they would need a bigger space to accomodate for the rise in popularity of cycling.

Opening a business in 2020 was challenging to say the least, their initial grand opening was pushed due to Covid Restrictions.  Ashmont Cycles officially opened their doors at their brand spanking new space at 1977 Dorchester Ave in August of 2020.

The team at Ashmont Cycles is excited to be in a bigger space, which allows them to repair more bikes than ever before, oftentimes you will see Pelletier with his son Issac and daughter elizabeth?? repairing bicycles. The new space provides ample natural light thanks to a row of storefront windows. Inside the shop, bicycles hang from ceiling racks and behind the counter offers a variety of parts, tools, and accessories.
