Dot 2 Dot Cafe was recognized as one of Boston’s Best “Hidden” Restaurants for 2013 by the Boston Hidden Restaurants blog! Their well-deserved recognition as “Best Hidden Breakfast Place” might make tables a bit harder to come by for your weekend brunch…

We’ve heard from many of you that the neighborhood needs a cafe or sandwich shop that’s open in the late afternoon, and Dot 2 Dot’s extended hours will help you satisfy your sandwich and coffee cravings heading into the weekend.

If you’ve never been to Dot 2 Dot, or if it’s been awhile, here’s chef-owner Karen Henry-Garrett’s vision:

“Dot 2 Dot is a place to grab a bite, meet a friend, read a paper, or see a show. With walls covered in local art and dishes made fresh every day, D2D is your home away from home. Operating in the heart of Dorchester, in Boston, MA, Dot 2 Dot is a locally-owned café committed to providing an excellent, made from scratch meal, at a good price, in a beautiful space to every person who comes through our door.”

Please support Dot 2 Dot’s extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays! This is a great step toward the evening cafe many of you envision for the neighborhood.
