The Greater Ashmont MS Business Support & Recruitment Committee is meant to help ALL businesses and institutions in the neighborhood, and we need your participation! The more who get involved, the more successful we will be. All are welcome.

We hope you will consider becoming a member of Greater Ashmont Main Street.  Dues are $50 per year for businesses.  This funding helps Greater Ashmont MS continue its work on projects like business networking events, storefront renovations, and business recruitment and promotion.  You can become a member by downloading our application or contacted our office ( to have a form mailed to you. The goals of the Business Support & Recruitment Committee are:

  1. To create a safer, cleaner business district by improving communication and increasing accountability among local businesses.
  2. To improve access for local businesses to valuable city resources such as grants, contacts, and market specific advisers.
  3. To re-establish the district as a thriving commercial zone and increase revenue for local businesses.

The Business Support & Recruitment Committee meets bi-monthly to share information, network, and discuss common concerns among business owners in the Greater Ashmont MS district.
