If you can think all the way back to last November when SMAMS had our Community Visioning meeting, one of the major topics of conversation was beautification. SMAMS has since partnered with COGDesign, an organization providing pro-bono landscape design services, to help us develop a comprehensive plan for “greening” the SMAMS district.
We’ve started thinking about the beautification plan, and we need your input! Please join us for a community meeting on Wednesday, July 23 from 6:30-8:00pm to brainstorm creative ways to add beauty, public space, art, and green space to our neighborhood business district. We’ll meet at the MAHA (Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance) building at 1803 Dorchester Ave. Spread the word!
