We’re excited to welcome Stephanie as our new administrative assistant. Stephanie currently works as a Barista at Home.stead Café & Bakery, and, in her free-time, she likes to attend art showings, poetry open-mics, and visit the local shops throughout Boston.

Stephanie grew up as a daughter of a small business owner that catered to the local Hispanic community in her home town. Throughout her childhood and young-adult years, she experienced the ins-and-outs of a small local business and the relationships built between the community and her mother to make her small family business function. Having developed an appreciation for the unique rewards and challenges of starting and owning a small business, she is excited for the opportunity to support up-and-coming small businesses in the Dorchester neighborhood.

Along with her experience with business start-ups, Stephanie has a great passion for learning and celebrating the rich cultures of individuals that make communities unique.Stephanie has lived in Dorchester for just under a year, and has fallen in love with the culturally diverse individuals that call Dorchester home. She’s excited for a role which will allow her to celebrate Dorchester and continue to cultivate the rich diversity that makes Dorchester unique.

We’re so excited to have Stephanie’s passion for a promoting a healthy, culturally-diverse community, excitement for supporting local businesses, and her positive presence on our team that will enhance our efforts to support our unique district.

In her role as Administrative Assistant, Stephanie will be working 16 hours per week, providing critical administrative support to the many projects and events we organize in our Boston Main Streets district. We’re look forward to the increased organizational capacity her role will allow as we continue our work to foster a vibrant and welcoming neighborhood.

Please join us in welcoming Stephanie!
